Set the minimum log level. If you select 'error', just errors are logged. With 'debug' you get all logging messages. The order of log levels is: 'debug', 'info', 'notice' and 'error'.

**Performance Impact:** This setting affects both file logging and the AdminLog cache. More verbose levels (debug, info) will generate more log entries and may require larger cache sizes. Consider adjusting `AdminLog::MaxMessages` accordingly:

- **error**: Minimal logging, cache typically needs 50-200 messages
- **notice**: Moderate logging, cache typically needs 200-400 messages
- **info**: Verbose logging, cache may need 400-1000+ messages
- **debug**: Very verbose, cache may need 1000+ messages (not recommended for production)

Maximum number of log messages shown in system log module of the administrator interface.

**Note:** Since OTRS 2026.1.x, the log cache respects the `MinimumLogLevel` setting, storing only messages that match the configured verbosity level. This improves performance and ensures important messages aren't pushed out by lower-priority entries.

**Recommended values based on your MinimumLogLevel:**
- **error**: 100-400 messages (errors are typically rare)
- **notice**: 200-600 messages (moderate message volume)
- **info**: 400-1000 messages (high message volume)
- **debug**: 1000+ messages (very high volume, not recommended for production)

**Performance tip:** Lower values improve AdminLog loading speed but show shorter message history.
