Enables or disables the human readable time formats for automatic time accounting or time unit dropdown fields. The only supported time unit is seconds. If you have stored different time units before, e.g. minutes or quarters, please have a look to the console command "bin/otrs.Console.pl Admin::Config::ConvertTimeAccountingToSeconds" to have you configuration and data converted to seconds.

Defines, if and how time is accounted. There are several more configuration options, search for "TimeAccounting" to find them. The configuration options for automatic time accounting are grouped in "AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::Auto###". The configuration options for manual time accounting with dropdown fields are grouped in "AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::Dropdown###". This configuration option is for manual time accounting with a single input field: AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::TimeUnitsInformation. In addition, there are these four general configuration options: AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::HumanReadable, AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::DisplayInArticle, AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::Mandatory, and AgentFrontend::TimeAccounting::TimeUnitsInformation. And this configuration option is for the external frontend: ExternalFrontend::TicketDetailView###AccountedTimeDisplay.

Defines the time units for the drop-down list. The “Name” key defines the label of the field. The “Default” key sets a default value which will be pre-selected in the drop-down list and the value can be any valid value from the second entry of the “Settings” key. For the “Settings” key, the first entry is the time in seconds and the second entry is the label to be displayed in the drop-down list.
